Stand with us!
This hikoi to parliament is a stand to ensure the preservation of our culture and the Māori worldview.
On Tuesday 15 May 2018, Tauranga Moana will be making a stand against the Crown's processes that have not prioritized tikanga Māori.
Buses will be departing from Tauranga on the morning of Monday 14th May, with accommodation available in Poneke. These arrangements are currently being confirmed.
An itinerary will be up on the website once confirmed.
A contribution of $20 for whānau (or more if you wish) who are wanting to come on the bus would be greatly appreciated, however we would be grateful to receive any koha towards this kaupapa.

Te Rangihouhiri began his journey from Whāngārā to Hakurānui to Whakapau Kōrero to Pōporohuamea where he died. Following his death and after many significant battles, his descendants who became known as Ngāi Te Rangi settled in Tauranga Moana.
