Nau mai and welcome to the Ngāi Te Rangi Tribal Register where we collect and maintain the contact details for all Ngāi Te Rangi iwi members. The total number of registered members as of December 2018 is 7672.

​Why Register?

Registering on the Tribal Register means we can contact you about important kaupapa like tribal and hapū hui, newsletters, scholarships and grants, and if you are 18 years or older, we can send you voting papers for trustee elections and the like. ​

​Think you're already registered? If you registered in the past with Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Te Rangi Iwi Trust, chances are your registration details have been transferred here and you do not need to register again. You can search your name on the Registration List. If you cannot find your name, you can complete a new registration via one of the two registration options below. ​

​Te Rangihouhiri began his journey from Whāngārā to Hakurānui to Whakapau Kōrero to Pōporohuamea where he died. Following his death and after many significant battles, his descendants who became known as Ngāi Te Rangi settled in Tauranga Moana.
