Oranga Whānau Supervisor

We’re looking for an Oranga Whānau Supervisor to support the growth and development of our kaimahi. This role plays a key part in building the capability of the Oranga Whānau team, through supervision, training, leadership, and professional development initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying relevant development opportunities for team members
- Providing regular internal professional supervision across the Oranga Whānau team
- Attending leadership meetings
- Planning and delivering the Oranga Whānau training programme
- Assisting with recruitment
- Contributing to funding reports and organisational goals

We’re looking for someone who:
- Brings experience in team leadership, supervision, or development
- Communicates clearly and works collaboratively
- Able to maintain momentum and support others to do the same

Qualifications and experience:
- Registered Social Worker
- Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Supervision
- At least 10 years’ experience in Social Work

Rangatahi Kaimahi | CAYAD

Are you passionate about supporting rangatahi, whānau, and community wellbeing? Join Te Ohu Rangatahi as a CAYAD (Community Action on Youth and Drugs) kaimahi and be part of the kaupapa to reduce alcohol and other drug-related harm through community-led change.

In this role, you will:
- Support and coordinate projects that strengthen community responses to alcohol and drug harm
- Facilitate community wānanga and informed kōrero on these important issues
- Grow local capacity for youth in education, employment, and recreation
- Help reduce the supply of substances to young people through effective policies and practices

- Build and maintain strong professional and community relationships
- Implement meaningful, practical programme plans
- Facilitate and support drug and alcohol-related community wānanga
- Create and take advantage of opportunities for growth and learning

Key Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and handle phone/email inquiries.
Manage office correspondence, filing, and supplies.
Assist with financial tasks like inventory and asset registers.
Support IT systems, monitor health & safety compliance.
Maintain fleet vehicle schedules and ensure roadworthiness.
Key Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in reception or administration roles.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficient with MS Office; health and safety knowledge is a plus.
