We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to support us to continue to deliver our 14 year long night health service.  If you’re a qualified Nurse Practitioner and working in a kaupapa Māori organisation helping out hapori in need is something you’re dedicated to then we would like to hear from you. 
 
Applicants will have:
  • a current Annual Practising Certificate 
  • membership of NZNO or other professional body 
  • NZ residency 
  • a current CPR certificate 
 
Key benefits:

  • No minimum fee generation 
  • Up to five nightly sessions (6pm to 9pm) per week

  • Build and maintain strong relationships

  • Experience identifying and assessing the social determinants of health and wellbeing, such as poor housing or living conditions, low levels of educational engagement, truancy, unemployment barriers and cultural disconnectedness. 
  • Manage caseload and time and work effectively within a team environment.

​Te Rangihouhiri began his journey from Whāngārā to Hakurānui to Whakapau Kōrero to Pōporohuamea where he died. Following his death and after many significant battles, his descendants who became known as Ngāi Te Rangi settled in Tauranga Moana.
