​This role will be base at our Te Maire Site, Waikorire/Pilot bay.

We are looking for someone who has a big heart and loves working with rangatahi.  You will be supporting rangatahi to gain independence and transition out of Oranga Tamariki care. 
 Key tasks include: 

• Working with rangatahi and vulnerable people towards independence 
• Building relationships with rangatahi and whānau 
• Working with other organisations to create wrap around support 

 Key responsibilities and attributes (other duties may be assigned): 

• Build and maintain strong relationships 
• Calm and relatable with a wide range of people 
• Behaviour management and conflict resolution 
• Restricted or Full drivers license 
• A relevant qualification e.g. Social Work, Youth Work, Health, Teaching (Level 6 or above) – expectations may be made for people with significant relevant experience.
