Registered Social Worker | Mental Health & Addiction Kaimahi – Applications Open

We are looking for a Registered Social Worker who can work with tangata whaiora in the early intervention/prevention level of co-existing mental health and addiction of drug problems. Join us in making a direct impact in a collaborative environment dedicated to positive change.
 
Key tasks include: 

• Work with tangata whaiora in recovery from addiction of drugs and mental health 
• Working with other organisations to create wrap around support 

 
Key responsibilities and attributes (other duties may be assigned): 

• Build and maintain strong relationships 
• Good knowledge of mental health 
• Supporting people to identify and access addiction of drugs and/or mental health and community resources to maximise their wellbeing 
• Working with a harm reduction strategy 
• Registered Social Worker or working towards registration 
• Able to manage own client base and keep exception client notes
